Okay, let's start from the very beginning... it all happened in a magic African town called Morogoro located at the famous Uluguru mountains, where 15 great people from all over the world were working on different good purposes. As part of this work 5 out of these 15, called Subteam 2 :) made some very interesting field work today - they have visited a health centre and a secondary school in the rural area around Morogoro. While waiting in the dispensory in Kihonda the team has met a nice Massai lady with her newborn baby on her arm. The woman was very friendly - just as usually Tanzanian people are - and has started a conversation with us by asking our names. As we were sitting one by one on the bench first Shaun answered, but apparently the Massai woman was not really impressed. Then I have introduced myself to her and my name made her laugh. Wondering if Petra means something funny in Swaheli? After me it was Ilona's turn and apparently the Massai woman was so impressed by her name that she wanted the baby to be given the same name. This is how the baby - we don't know exactly if boy or girl - has became Rona (which sounds almost like Ilona) and Ilona became the honorary godmother of a sweet Massai baby. Congratulations, Ilona! :)
This is how we travel :)
